Michael Ryan – Managing Member
As President and Founder of both North Bay Associates and North Bay Technology Development, Mike Ryan conceptualized and led the acquisition of Fused Solutions LLC. Located in Marlborough, MA, North Bay Associates offers outsourced business development consulting to growth-oriented technology firms. Located in Potsdam, NY, North Bay Technology Development is an approved qualified business development company of the Seaway Private Equity Corp., (SPEC), involved with recruiting and growing technology-based ventures to St. Lawrence County, NY.

Before founding North Bay Associates, Mike served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Message Secure Corporation, a managed security services and compliance assurances provider to regulated businesses. Mike joined MSC to transition it from a start-up with less than 20 clients to a growth stage company. While at Message Secure, Mike refined the company strategy to focus on high value verticals, restructured the sales organization to reflect changing market conditions, developed effective sales training programs, managed all business development initiatives, implemented a new CRM system to enhance reporting and productivity, and led the company's first effort to secure venture funding.

Previously, Mike served as Director of Business Development and Eastern Operations with DDI, the fastest growing and most profitable quick turn contract manufacturer of its time, where he developed and executed a sales plan to exceed company requirements Earlier in his career, Mike served in senior sales and business development roles at Cuplex, Inc., Aero DDL and Rogers Corporation. Mike has a BS in Engineering and Management from Clarkson University.

Mark Cornett - Chief Operating Officer
Mark Cornett has leveraged over a quarter century of practical and instructional business experience to guide Fused Solutions through a significant and positive transformation since his arrival in February of 2000. In addition to general oversight of company operations, his focus on effective organizational development has established a strong foundation for continued growth and success.
                        
Prior to Fused Solutions, Mark spent more than a decade as a member of the business faculty, and director of several programs, at Clarkson University. In 1979 he began his career with the Hewlett-Packard Company, where he spent nearly a decade in various sales and marketing management roles. A 1979 graduate of Clarkson University (IE&M Program), Mark also holds an MBA degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.

Jennifer Balaban – Call Center Manager
Jennifer brings strong customer service, process management, and employee mentoring and training skills to the Fused Solutions team. She holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Sciences from SUNY Potsdam, that she has applied to a inherent talent for high quality customer service. Jennifer joined Fused in 2001 as a technical support representative and quickly advanced through the management structure to her current role of Call Center Operations Manager. 

In addition to working with clients to achieve continuous improvement of the customer care process, and the resulting enhanced quality of service, she directs the recruiting, interviewing, hiring and training process of new employees. Jennifer attributes her mentoring and training skills to her background in Zen-Do Kai karate where she was an assistant instructor. Jennifer has also committed herself to the mentoring and training of area college students to insure Fused Solutions enjoys a continuous pipeline of qualified personnel for its growing human resource needs.

Pete Blackmer – Technical Operations Manager
A native to the area, Pete is a prime example of the north countries ability to produce and maintain technically advanced individuals. Beginning his career at Fused Solutions as a Technical Support Representative, Pete quickly utilized his several years of General Manager experience in the food service industry to eventually become the Technical Support Manager for the call center. His experience with volume based labor demands and high level of customer service was a perfect fit for the call center.

Realizing the need for better tools in the call center, Pete made a lateral move to software development. Leveraging his experience and knowledge Pete has led the development of workforce management, CRM/trouble ticket, and custom billing applications for Fused Solutions.  Through these and other projects Pete has expanded his own knowledge base to become fluent in nearly a dozen programming languages as well as database design and administration.

Continuing his growth Pete is currently the Technical Operations Manager for Fused Solutions. His experience in both the call center and the development of call center applications ensures Fused Solutions continuing ability to meet our clients demands and maintain our high level of support standards.

Joseph Caswell – IT Infrastructure Manager
Joe Caswell has leveraged over 15 years of IT systems administration experience in the US Army to provision a robust, stable, and highly available infrastructure to support the operational needs of Fused Solutions. An accomplished technician and administrator, he holds full MCSE/MCSA certification and enjoys proficiency in all elements of the Microsoft platforms. Starting with Fused Solutions in 2006, Joe is also responsible for all workstation, server, and network administration for Fused Solutions.

Andrew Thompson – Telephony Platform Manager
A product of both Ireland, and its educational system, Andrew Thompson oversees all design, deployment, and administration associated with the company’s proprietary IP telephony platform, which he co-developed after joining Fused Solutions in 2006. In addition to other infrastructure and application development responsibilities, Andrew is the organization’s chief open source architect and subject matter expert for open source platforms.
